Our communication is structured. We don’t over promise to win work. We don’t disappear when things get difficult. And we don’t shift responsibility when problems arise.Trust is earned long before handover — and protected long after.
Transparency
Transparency means no hidden scope, no surprise invoices, and no “we’ll sort it out later.”Our proposals are broken down by trade and stage so you can see where your money is going. Variations are discussed, priced, and approved in writing before work proceeds. Construction programs are visible through Wunderbuild, and updates are provided weekly.If something changes — whether it’s cost, timing, or scope — you know about it immediately.If we’ve missed something that should reasonably have been allowed for, we wear it.
Standards
We don’t accept “close enough.” Every project runs to documented standards. We use written construction details, progress checklists, laser and level checks, and structured inspections throughout the build — not just at the end. Quality doesn’t drop when the job gets busy. It doesn’t drop when we’re behind schedule. And it doesn’t depend on who’s on site that day. If something isn’t right, it’s redone. If something can be improved early, it is. We would rather fix it when it’s inconvenient than leave it until it’s expensive.
Respect
Respect runs through everything we do — clients, trades, neighbours, and our own team. Our sites are clean, presented properly, and locked up daily. Language and behaviour are controlled. Trades are inducted and accountable. We expect professionalism from everyone on site. We also expect respect in return. We work best with clients who value process, communication, and mutual trust. If someone cannot treat our team properly, we won’t continue the relationship.
Ownership
If we make a mistake, we own it and fix it. Problems are raised early — while they’re easy to fix, not hidden or passed down the line. Renovations are complex. Unknowns arise. What matters is how they are handled. Ownership also means accountability to the bigger picture. We focus on solutions, not blame. We are hard on the issue, not the person. We expect the same from our trades. If something falls short of standard, it’s rectified properly.
Safety
Safety isn’t optional. It’s structured. We run digital inductions and site compliance through BuildPass. Every trade checks in. Toolbox meetings are completed regularly. PPE is supplied and worn. High-risk works are planned and controlled. Clean sites are safer sites. Organised sites are safer sites. Propped structures are engineered and installed properly. We don’t cut corners to move faster. If someone ignores safety procedures, they don’t stay on our projects.
Our Process
01.
Initial consultation and site inspection
We begin by reviewing your architectural plans and documentation in detail. This includes a thorough site visit with key trades to ensure pricing is based on real conditions.
02.
Detailed pricing and scope definition
our comprehensive proposal includes costs broken down by trade, clear inclusions, & detailed terms. We then hold a dedicated meeting to walk through the quotation line by line.
03.
Pre-construction planning and approvals
We finalise selections, secure relationship-based trades, and order long-lead items early to protect your timeline. You are onboarded into Wunderbuild to ensure all documentation and communication remain centralised.
04.
Structured construction delivery
We issue a detailed program and provide 24/7 access to our Wunderbuild portal. Your project manager coordinates trades, completes continuous quality checklists, and provides weekly photo updates.
05.
Completion, Handover, & Post-Build Support
We conduct a formal walk-through with you and your architect to finalise a photo-based defect list. Following handover, we provide a 90-day defect period and a comprehensive manual for ongoing maintenance.
Our Projects
Sandringham
This Sandringham project involved a major double-storey renovation and extension of a solid double-brick residence with a suspended concrete slab. Beaumade Builds managed complex structural integration, carefully tying new framing into the existing masonry while maintaining the building’s integrity.
Fitzroy
This Fitzroy project highlights our specialised capability in builder takeovers. Beaumade Builds was engaged to recover a high-end renovation and extension after the original builder entered liquidation. Starting from the frame stage, we conducted a full site audit and structural review to rectify non-compliant works and restore the project’s momentum.
Brighton
This Brighton project involved a high-end architectural renovation and extension designed to elevate the residence’s presence and liveability in a premium Bayside setting. A key structural feature included extending the rear suspended slab to create an expansive entertaining zone, alongside the relocation of the external staircase and the installation of high-performance double glazing throughout.
Fitzroy North
This Fitzroy North project involved a major double-brick renovation and extension, blending contemporary functionality with original character. Navigating tight inner-city access, we executed complex structural works, including underpinning, crack stitching, and integrating new framing into solid masonry.
